PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the increase of the rigidity of connection between pins and pulleys, the reduction of play of the pins when the pins engage with the pulleys, the decrease of drive noise, and the further improvement of practical durability in a power transmission chain. SOLUTION: A chain 1 wound over a pair of pulleys has connecting members 50 for connecting a plurality of links 2 to each other. A first pin 3 and a second one 4 of the connecting member 50 make rolling and sliding contact with each other at a contact section T, which changes the position thereof as the angle of bend between links 2 changes. End surfaces 17 of the first pin 3 each have a protrusively curved section 20, on which a contact area 21 is formed when contacting the sheave surfaces of the pulleys. With regard to a perpendicularly intersecting direction V, the center M of the projection of each protruding curved section 20 is located between the position S1 of a first contact section T1 when the chain 1 engages with a drive pulley and the position S2 of a second contact section T2 when engaging with a driven pulley.
