PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plug-fall-off prevention tool capable of preventing a plug from falling off a linear receptacle, in a simple work. SOLUTION: The plug-fall-off prevention tool 1 is formed by providing a pair of engagement parts 2, 2 each equipped with engagement pawls to be engaged with a surface plate 12 of a linear receptacle 10 in passing at least one of the plurality of linear grooves 11 of the surface plate 12, contact parts 4, 4 formed of a flexible member for contacting the pair of engagement parts 2, 2, and a pressing part 5 integrally formed with the contact parts 4, 4 for pressing a plug 20 onto the surface plate 12 when the pair of engagement parts 2, 2 get engaged with the surface plate 12 taking a given position against the plug 20.
