The invention relates to a method of managing a transmission network of MPLS type by sharing the bandwidth between several tunnels when a router is congested, characterized in that it implements for at least one tunnel a dynamic marking of the authorizations to send packets by adding a congestion cue, and the implementation of an algorithm for regulating access to said tunnels on the basis of the congestion cue according to an algorithm in which a low throughput limit LLA and a high throughput limit HLA being allocated to each tunnel, there is for each tunnel; in the presence of a congestion cue, a decrease by a decrement DEC of the current throughput limit CLA as long as it is greater than LLA, in the absence of a congestion cue, an increase by an increment INC of the current throughput limit CLA as long as it has not reached HLA. |
