PURPOSE: A coating apparatus for controlling mixing ratio and a coating method thereof are provided to control pressure and flow rate in a high pressure range, and to also control a mixing ratio of a base and curing agent by installing a spindle motor of a seesaw two-pack type coating device. CONSTITUTION: A coating apparatus for controlling mixing ratio comprises: a control unit(10) which calculates a mixing ratio of a base and curing agent based on a flow rate calculation value when a mixing ratio is inputted, and controls to move a motor position when the calculated mixing ratio is out or a specific configuration range; a motor(20) rotated with spindles according to the control of the control unit; a main pump(40) which pumps while controlling the mixing ratio of a base and curing agent according to the rotation of the spindle motor; and a mixer unit(110) for mixing the pumped base and curing agent.
