PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex sliding-type sliding door device which can shorten the length of a guide member used for guiding a door body which becomes the door-tip side when an opening is closed. SOLUTION: The multiplex sliding-type sliding door device is provided with the first and second door bodies 1, 2 and guide rails 21, 22 which are the first and second guide members respectively which guide the door bodies 1, 2 in the opening and closing direction. The opening is opened and closed by the first and second door bodies 1, 2, and the opening is closed not by the travel of the first door body 1 but by the travel of the second door body 2. The first guide rail 21 used for the first door body 1 is attached to a transom 5 which is a non-movable member, and the second guide rail 22 used for the second door body 2 is attached to the first door body 1. By moving the second guide rail 22 of which the tip on the closing side is projected from the first door body 1 with the first door body 1, the length of the second guide rail 22 can be shortened.
