<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary shaft connecting structure which prevents vibration and noise due to clearances between a shaft fitting hole and shaft and between a key groove and a key and prevents a phase shift due to abrupt change of high load and load, and a geared motor. <P>SOLUTION: A shaft fitting hole 111 having a key groove 113 is provided to a shaft end of an input shaft 110. An output shaft 120 is provided with a key groove 123 in an outer periphery thereof. A slit 112 passing through the key groove 113 is provided in the shaft fitting hole 111.
