<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which properly detects global motion indicating distortion applied to an entire image when the image contains a keystone distortion. <P>SOLUTION: The motion vector detection section is configured to detect a motion vector of each of a plurality of blocks of a predetermined size set in an image and composed of a plurality of pixels. The global motion calculation section is configured to carry out convergence calculation, from the motion vectors of the blocks detected by the motion vector detection section, using extended affine transformation in which at least one of affine parameters is represented by a function of a variable regarding a displacement axis of the image to calculate the global motion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
