REMOTE STARTUP DEVICE, REMOTE STARTUP SYSTEM, AND REMOTE STARTUP METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience to the user when remotely starting up an engine without detracting from safety with respect to vehicle theft.

SOLUTION: This remote startup device comprises an engine start means to which a start indication signal indicating the start of the engine of a vehicle is transmitted by radio and which turns on a control signal for bringing the engine in a drive state in response to the start indication signal and an operation monitoring means for monitoring predetermined user operations to the vehicle after the control signal is turned on. The engine startup means keeps the control signal on until the user operations are completed after the control signal is turned on. Therefore, the engine is kept in a drive state until the user starts up the engine. When an operation for driving the predetermined portion of the vehicle among the user operations is performed without using a portable key, the safety against theft is secured since the control signal is turned off.
