摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle driving device which can raise a power transmission efficiency by comprehensively controlling the gear ratio of a whole vehicle driving device with respect to the vehicle driving device equipped with an electric type differential section and a continuously variable shift section. <P>SOLUTION: Such a case that a switching brake B0 or a switching clutch C0 is engaged, and a total continuously variable gear ratio &gamma;T is changed by a continuously variable shift section 20 is compared with such a case that the switching clutch C0 and the switching brake B0 are both released, and the total continuously variable gear ratio &gamma;T is changed by an electric type differential section 11 and a continuously variable shift section 20, and one of those cases whose fuel consumption is smaller is selected for operation.
