<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe made of an iron-base material in which a sprayed coating having excellent corrosion prevention performance and also free from problems in hygiene is formed on the outside surface. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a pipe made of an iron-base material, which has a corrosion prevention layer on the surface thereof. The corrosion prevention layer contains a Zn-Sn sprayed coating consisting of more than 1 mass% to less than 50 mass% Sn and the balance Zn. Alternatively, the corrosion prevention layer contains a Zn-Sn-Mg sprayed coating consisting of more than 1 mass% to less than 50 mass% Sn, more than 0.01 to less than 5 mass% Mg, and the balance Zn. It is preferable that the sprayed coating of the corrosion prevention layer contains at least one of Ti, Co, Ni and P with the content of each being more than 0.001 mass% to less than 3 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
