PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, which makes it possible to more intuitively understand the three-dimensional structure of two separate scanning regions by displaying them as if they were observed from a viewpoint of the standard section opened after they were cut apart despite changes in the viewpoint of rendering process. SOLUTION: With the viewpoint positioned at this side of the respective standard section of two separate regions divided at the standard section, an angle and another to look them down or up between the viewpoint and the standard section may become the same. Then rendering processing is done from their volume data to generate their divided-region projection images and display them as a double plate by placing them side by side with their standard sections facing each other.
