<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device separating a recording material that carries a toner image and has a relatively low rigidity, from a heating roller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image heating device includes a plurality of heat rollers 51 and 52, a pressure roller 53 separately coming into contact with the heat rollers 51 and 52 and forming nip portions N1 and N2 together with the heat rollers, where the recording material P carrying the toner image T is sandwiched and conveyed at the nip portions, and then heated. Regarding the plurality of heat rollers, each heat roller is formed shorter in longitudinal length than the pressure roller, and the heat rollers are disposed at different positions in the longitudinal direction of the pressure roller so that they may not overlap each other in the circumferential direction of the pressure roller. The recording material carrying the toner image is successively sandwiched and conveyed at the plurality of nip portions formed when the pressure roller comes in contact with the plurality of heat rollers, respectively, and then, the recording material carrying the toner image is heated.
