VEHICLE DOOR LOCKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door locking device for making the display state of a mechanical display part coincide with the unlock or lock state of a vehicle door.

SOLUTION: This device includes an engaging pin 23e abutting on an active lever 26 to transmit power on the side of moving the active lever 26 into a lock position from an unlock position; a spring 43 biasing the engaging pin 23e to the side of abutting on the active lever 26; an engaging piece 22c abutting on an inside open lever 23 on the moving side interlocked with the locking operation of an inside handle to transmit power to the inside open lever 23 to move the active lever 26 into the lock position from the unlock position; a spring 41 biasing the engaging piece 22c to the side of abutting on the inside open lever 23 with biasing force smaller than the spring 43; and a locking actuator 29 moving the active lever 26 between the unlock position and the lock position.
