<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active reactor that reliably forms a virtual reactor having current and voltage properties equivalent to ones obtained when the reactor is actually mounted to the output end of a DC power supply, even when the DC power supply changes in the power supply voltage or causes power supply voltage variations by current control, and can easily cope with the situation where the DC power supply changes in the power supply voltage or causes the power supply voltage variations by current control. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The active reactor 12 includes an integrator 13 for integrating a difference obtained by comparing a voltage command value with a voltage detected value, a divider 14 for dividing the output value from the integrator 13 with a virtual inductance value, and an amplifier 15 for amplifying the difference obtained by comparing a current command value output from the divider 14 with a current detected value. The active reactor has the current and voltage properties equivalent to those of the reactor which has an inductance value identical to the virtual inductance value by adding the output value from the amplifier 15 to the output value of the current control unit 11.
