<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase interest of a game by requiring a player's operation for adjusting the rotation speed of a polyhedron to estimate a future situation in a video game progressed by rotatingly moving the polyhedron in a virtual three-dimensional space. <P>SOLUTION: A rectangular parallelepiped object 202 rotatingly moves on a field 203 defined by the virtual three-dimensional space for every 90°with each side defined as an axis, and the player moves the rectangular parallelepiped object 202 to bring it in contact with the whole field 203 without protruding it outside the field 203 within a time limit. The rotation speed of the rectangular parallelepiped object 202 is accelerated/decelerated by accelerating/decelerating operation and whether the rectangular parallelepiped object 202 can be stopped at the rotation speed or not is determined compared with a stop condition. When determining that the rectangular parallelepiped object 202 cannot be stopped at the rotation speed, according to the stop condition, the rectangular parallelepiped object continues the rotating movement without stopping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
