PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a display-apparatus driving method are provided to reduce damage to the uniformity of an image due to mobility deviation of an element driving transistor by compensating an effect due to mobility of the element driving transistor. CONSTITUTION: In a display apparatus and a display-apparatus driving method, a lighting-emitting area(10) is arranged as two-dimensional matrix. M scan lines(SCLm) are extended in a first direction, and N data lines(DTLn) are extended in a second direction. A driver circuit(11) is built in the light emitting unit and includes a signal recording transistor, an element driving transistor, and a capacitance portion and a first switch circuit. An emitting device(ELP) is built in the light emitting area and radiates luminance according to a driving current outputted by the element driving transistor.
