<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which displays a whole image while avoiding an object existing in front of an image display section. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device is constituted so that when it is detected that an object exists at a position in a predetermined range from a liquid crystal display panel 16 for displaying an image with an aspect ratio, size and at a position set in advance, the size of the image displayed on the liquid crystal display panel 16 is reduced according to a position of the object by maintaining the aspect ratio as it is, while the display position of the image in the liquid crystal display panel 16 is set according to the position of the object. Specifically, when an object Y exists at a position which interferes with an image A as shown in Fig.2(a), an image B is displayed with a reduced size at a position while avoiding the object Y as shown in Fig.2(b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
