IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, PROGRAM FOR THE SAME, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reduction processing and magnification processing of the size of an image of display data to be displayed by an application while suppressing the deterioration of the image.

SOLUTION: The image display device includes: a display means performing the display at prescribed resolution; an application processing means executing an application to generate primary display data of an image to be displayed on the display means; a primary display data storage means storing the primary display data; and a display processing means generating secondary display data corresponding to the resolution of the display means from the primary display data stored in the primary display data storage means. The display processing means includes: a color space standard expansion means expanding the color space standard with a high compression rate of the primary display data to a color space standard with a low compression rate to generate secondary display data; and a display data expansion contraction means performing the magnification processing or the reduction processing of the display size of the secondary display data expanded by the color space standard expansion means. The display means displays the image on the basis of the secondary display data.
