<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of eliminating troublesome for searching a desired image in a digital camera, thereby simply searching the desired image. <P>SOLUTION: When the whole image group are directed to be displayed, a thumbnail image of an image displayed on a display part 110 until then is displayed at a first position on a screen of the display part 110 as a reference image 202, while a region image 201 is displayed for indicating a region in which operation using a touch panel 111 can be performed when the whole image group is displayed at a second position of the screen of the display part 110.
