<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of preventing the deterioration of fuel economy while preventing the progress of the form change of a catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 100 includes: a fuel cell 30 having a catalyst; a control means 70 conducting potential drop control controlling the potential of a cathode of the fuel cell to a value lower than an open circuit potential while conducting power generation in the fuel cell in the operation starting of the fuel cell; and a detecting means 40 detecting the form change of a catalyst, and the control means inhibits the potential drop control when the progress of the form change of the catalyst becomes the prescribed value or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
