摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and weatherability of a fuel cell by preventing that a polymer electrolyte in a fuel cell electrode catalyst is cut in its molecule chain by energy of harmful ultraviolet rays and deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode catalyst for fuel cell in which a catalyst metal is carried in a conductive carrier has further carried an ultraviolet absorber. It is preferable that as the ultraviolet absorber, one kind or more is selected from a benzophenone system ultraviolet absorber, benzotriazol system ultraviolet absorber, cyanoacrylate system ultraviolet absorber, nickel system ultraviolet absorber, and hindered amine system ultraviolet stabilizer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
