<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing circuit, a power saving method, a power saving program and a recording medium which are applied to various models and apparatuses and execute power saving processing suitable to the applied models and apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: An ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) 4 is mounted with functional modules 11 to 13 and an SSCG 21 for generating an operation clock to be supplied to the functional modules 11 to 13, is applied to various apparatuses, such as a copying machine 1 to perform data processing handled by the apparatuses by the functional modules 11 to 13 which operate at an operating speed corresponding to the operation clock, establishes the link of PCIe7 connection for data transfer with a CPU 5 being the device of the apparatus to perform data transfer using PCIe7 in accordance with the established link width, and determines the link width established with the CPU 5 to change the clock frequency of the operation clock to be supplied to the functional modules 11 to 13 from SSCG7 on the basis of the link width. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
