摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitting device for switching power transmission conditions at reduced cost without worsening fuel economy. SOLUTION: This power transmitting device includes a first stator 11 and a second stator 12 formed into a hollow cylindrical shape and arranged in parallel in the axial direction of a central shaft; rotors 13 arranged in hollow parts of the first stator 11 and the second stator 12, being freely rotatable centered on the central shafts of the first stator 11 and the second stator 12 by rotary magnetic field, and being freely slidable in the axial direction of the central shaft, respectively; a current carrying control circuit 6 for controlling current carrying to cause phase difference between the first stator 11 and the second stator 12; and a switching part for switching the power transmission conditions by using sliding operation in the axial direction of the central shaft of the rotor 13 caused by current carrying of the current carrying control circuit 6 as a driving source.
