摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of simply measuring the concentration of an extremely small amount of an acidic gas in air in a shorter time at a low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an acidic gas detection pipe constituted by filling a part having a constant diameter of a pipe with particles containing a detection reagent discolored upon reaction with a specific gas (detection agent), the detection reagent contains alkali discolored upon the reaction with an acetic acid or a formic acid and a pH indicator as components and the detection agent comprises a particle obtained by coating the surface of a substrate particle with an average particle size of 250-350 μm with the detection reagent. When air to be measured containing 10-1,200 μg/m<SP>3</SP>of the acetic acid or the formic acid in terms of a concentration in air at 25°C is continuously passed through the pipe within a flow rate range of 100-400 ml/min in the sum total amount of 5L or larger, a discoloration length is brought into a range of 2-80 mm.
