<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a casting mold by which a high precise plaster pattern can stably be manufactured by setting and fixing a rubber mold into a backup pattern in a stable state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the backup pattern 4, a plurality of pressure-reducing holes 6 provided at a predetermined interval and penetrated in the depth direction of a predetermined diameter ϕ on the surface 4a abutting on the rubber mold in the backup pattern 4. As for the pressure-reducing hole 6, a large diameter recessed part is formed on the surface 4a side abutting on the rubber mold, and the pressure-reducing hole 6 penetrated in the depth direction is formed at the center part of the recessed part. Further, the pressure-reducing hole 6 is cconnected to a reducing pressure absorbing means such as a vacuum pump (not shown in the figure) in the back surface side 4b of the backup pattern 4.
