PURPOSE: A vertical magnetic recording media and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture a percolate media type and utilize a vertical magnetic recording type. CONSTITUTION: A vertical magnetic recording media and a manufacturing method thereof include a substrate(110) and a recording layer(170). The recording layer is formed by injecting a first magnetic material area(171) as a layer forming the substrate. The recording layer includes a second magnetic material area(173) by the first magnetic area. The second magnetic area does not have the material features.
