<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for preventing moisture distribution in the surface of a unit cell from occurring, and to provide an operating method of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell system operated under at least one condition of a non-humidified condition and a high-temperature condition, a fuel gas channel and an oxidizing agent gas channel are arranged so that the flow direction of fuel gas opposes that of oxidizing agent gas in a fuel cell. Also, the fuel cell system has: a determination means of moisture near the inlet of the oxidizing agent gas channel; and a fuel gas control means for increasing moisture near the inlet of the oxidizing agent gas channel by either increasing the flow rate of fuel gas or decreasing the pressure of fuel gas, when the determination means determines that the moisture near the inlet of the oxidizing agent channel is in shortage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
