<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and low cost developing unit incorporating a developer mixer superior in uniform mixing and agitation, and provide an image forming device using this developing unit and a process cartridge including it. <P>SOLUTION: This developing unit has at least one agitating/carrying means 53 having separately formed blades around the shaft formed so that the developer feed direction is reversed at every 180° turn of the shaft turning in one direction to agitate and carry the developer 63, and a developer carrier 51 formed close to this agitating/carrying means 53 to hold and carry the developer 63. The supply toner 62 from the toner supply 61 is supplied through the toner supply holes 50a formed at the position opposite to the developer carrier 51 with respect to the rotation shaft 53a of the agitating/carrying means 53, and those toner supply holes 50a are formed separately from one another on the agitating/carrying means 53 in its longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
