<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon which is excellent in flexibility and permeability while maintaining the high strength of the balloon and its dimension stability when expanded. <P>SOLUTION: The entire balloon is covered with knitted or coiled fibers composed of a resin whose melting point is lower than that of a core component and the fibers are fixed or integrated on a balloon surface. By heating the entire balloon covered with the knitted or coiled fibers, the resin whose melting point is lower than that of the core component is melted, and the core component of the fibers and the balloon surface are fixed or integrated. The film thickness of the composite balloon thus obtained can be reduced since there is no need to use an adhesive when fixing or integrating the fibers and the balloon surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
