<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of detecting a little toner/no toner state in a toner bottle with a simple constitution without preparing a toner sensor for detecting toner in the toner bottle, and further instantaneously detecting an error when toner clogging occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus where the toner bottle 113 is rotated by a bottle motor 201 so as to replenish a developing device 104 with the toner in the toner bottle 113 includes a rotation state detection part 302 detecting the rotation state of the bottle motor 201 and a CPU 301 determining a residual amount of the toner in the toner bottle 113 from the rotation state of the bottle motor 201 detected by the rotation state detection part 302. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
