<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-melting device for a vehicle, which thaws uniformly accumulated snow and adjust its heating to an optimum heat generation amount to the snowfall. <P>SOLUTION: The snow-melting device for the vehicle has an electric heater 1 laminated in thermal coupling state at the underneath of a heat conduction plate 3 of a shape along the roof of a vehicle. The electric heater 1 is a planar heater 6 consisting of a plurality of belt-shape heater elements 6A being a sheet shape with flexibility. The belt-shape heater elements 6A have a pair of braided wires 8 having flexibility and conductivity arranged in parallel between the insulating sheets 7 on both faces, and a plurality of flexible heating sheets 9 are electrically connected to the pair of braided wires 8 so as to bridge them, and the surface of the both of the flexible heating sheets 9 and the braided wires 8 is insulated by the insulating sheets 7. The flexible heating sheets 9 do not substantially contain carbon and are established to a prescribed electric resistance by a conductive metal contained. The belt-shape heater elements 6A generate heat by being flowed with current to each flexible heating sheet 9 through the braided wires 8 and the flexible heating sheet 9 heats the heat conduction plate 3 to melt the snow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
