<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an influence factor specifying device that analyzes data even when an explanation variable includes qualitative variables and quantitative variables, does not require the precondition that the correlation between a response variable and explanation variable is linear, and does not cause information loss. <P>SOLUTION: Each data set having a quantitative variable in the explanation variable is separated into a plurality of segments according to the level of a qualitative variable in the explanation variable (S101). Accordingly, for each segment, a pseudo data set which can be treated as a quantitative variable is acquired by the segment and a blank field to complement the segment (S102). A multivariate analysis is applied to the explanation variable including a group of pseudo data sets and the response variable to specify an influence factor which influences the response variable (S103). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
