<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front part structure of an automobile capable of transmitting an impact load applied to a tire to the rear part of the body and dispersing even if the fore-and-aft spacing between the tire and each side sill is narrow. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The front part structure of automobile is equipped with a front hinge pillar 3 installed behind each front tire W, an apron reinforcement 4 extending forward from the upper part of the front hinge pillar 3, a mobile member 70 installed in the neighborhood of the connection part of the front hinge pillar 3 with the apron reinforcement 4 in such a way as movable in such a condition as coupled with at least one of the members 3 and 4, and a moving and holding means 71 to move the mobile member 70 to a position in proximity to the rear of the front tire W when an impact load is applied from ahead of the body, and hold the member 70 in this position after movement.
