PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knit texture capable of preventing curl occurrence on the terminal end thereof subjected to flat knitting, with the terminal end being thinner, and to provide a piece of clothing provided with the knit texture. SOLUTION: The knit texture is such that the forefront-side course constituting a partial knit texture P2 is formed using elastic yarns D, being knitted by repeating the steps of one-needle missing (float knitting), one-needle knitting (plain knitting), one-needle missing, and one-needle knitting; the intermediate course is formed using inelastic yarns H, being knitted by repeating the steps of one-needle knitting (plain knitting), one-needle tuck knitting, one-needle knitting, and one-needle tuck knitting; the terminal-side course is also formed using inelastic yarns H, being knitted by repeating the steps of one-needle tuck knitting, one-needle knitting, one-needle tuck knitting, and one-needle knitting.
