PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a roller for supporting a module of a normal conducting magnetic levitation type vehicle in an emergency. SOLUTION: Right and left modules 20 corresponding to a truck have magnetic coils, and levitate by attracting rails by the magnetism. An emergency roller which is totally denoted by the reference numeral 500 comprises a cylinder 510 and a piston shaft 530 fixed to the module side, and a roller 540 rotatably supported by the piston shaft 530. A roller unit shaft 530 is slidably inserted in the cylinder 510 of the emergency roller 500. A bush 560 is provided between the cylinder 510 and the roller unit shaft 530. A cylinder head 520 is mounted on a top of the cylinder head 510, and connected to a hydraulic pump via a coupling. The cylinder head 520 comprises a connector of a hydraulic pipe and a bleeder screw for air vent, and air is vented by loosening the bleeder screw when air is mixed in a hydraulic circuit.
