摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet rotor capable of improving torque and efficiency of a motor. SOLUTION: A magnetic pole 2A includes three permanent magnets and two core members 40A and 41A. The three permanent magnets consist of first magnet 30A arranged between the two core members 40A and 41A and two second magnets 31A and 32A arranged with the first magnet 30A to sandwich the core members 40A and 41A, respectively. The first magnet 30A is magnetized in the radial direction, and the second magnets 31A and 32A are magnetized in the direction perpendicular to the surface contacting the core members 40A and 41A. The core members 40A and 41A are so formed that surface areas 40b and 41b on which the magnetic flux of the second magnets 31A and 32A act are larger than the surface areas of 40c and 41c appearing on the surface of a rotor. With this configuration, the torque of a motor is improved and efficiency is improved as well due to a concentrating action of magnetic flux, a rectifying action of the magnetic flux, and a decreasing action of leaked magnetic flux.
