PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image having sufficient brightness while suppressing noise. SOLUTION: This imaging system is equipped with a light sending part 11 for emitting pulse-like light, a light receiving part 12, an image processing device 25 for accumulating image signals output from the receiving part 12 over a frame period, and outputting a superposed signal superposing a plurality of accumulated signals, a display 4 for displaying the superposed signal as an image, and a control device 3 for adjusting the brightness of the image displayed on the display 4, by adjusting the gain of a camera head 123 and the pulse frequency of the laser light emitted from the sending part 11 within their preset respective tolerances.
