The invention relates to a threaded connection piece (1) for screwing into a receiving opening, especially to a threaded connection piece of a sensor. Said threaded connection piece comprises a cylindrical base (2) which can be inserted at least to some extent into the receiving opening and which has a threaded section (3) and on the front a sealing surface (4) at least across a part of its longitudinal extension. In order to improve the sealing properties of the threaded connection piece when it is screwed into the receiving opening, the cylindrical base (2) is elastic between the threaded section (3) and the sealing surface (4). A peripheral groove (8) can e.g. be provided in the threaded connection piece for this purpose.
