PURPOSE: A method for providing an Internet phone service and an apparatus thereof are provided to enable one terminal to offer the Internet phone service in which the caller ID presentation service is possible to a local phone number. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(140) stores a plurality of phone numbers which are assigned to a representative phone and at least one personal phone. A calling service control unit(152) receives an originating call from one phone, and processes the originating call. A call connection is requested. A calling service providing unit sets up one of plural phone numbers as a caller ID presentation information according to the setting of a user. A called service control unit(154) extracts a called phone number from a received call.
