<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical thermal storage medium composite capable of repeating heat storage and heat radiation for a long period of time stably, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This chemical thermal storage medium composite is obtained by performing a mixing process, an acid-treating process and a baking process, and the method for producing the same is also provided. In the mixing process, a mixture M0 is obtained by mixing a powdery chemical thermal storage medium 11 with a clay mineral 12 at least containing Al as a component element and water. In the acid-treating process, the acid-treated mixture M1 is obtained by mixing the mixture M0 with an acid.
