<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of introducing sunlight through a light duct as well as through a window. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 1 includes: a bumped-out window unit 2 projecting from the outer wall surface of a building T; and the light duct 3 whose one end is open toward the outside of the building T. The bumped-out window unit 2 includes: an upper portion 5 and a lower portion 6 overhanging from the body of the building T; and a window portion 7B and a side portion 7A disposed between the upper portion 5 and the lower portion 6.
