摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine system with flux shunt control, having excellent energy efficiency in a magnet excitation rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotary electric machine system, a biasable field magnet is disposed between adjacent magnetic salient extension portions, a magnetic flux from the field magnet is divided into a main magnetic path passing through an armature side and a bypass magnetic path not passing through the armature, thereby changing the magnetic flux amount in accordance with bias. A rotary electric machine system and a magnetic flux amount control method capable of controlling the amount of a magnetic flux are obtained by suppressing a magnetic force impeding the biasing as minimum magnetic force conditions for setting the reluctance of the main and bypass magnetic paths to sustain the total amount of flux from the field magnet at an equal level or by using a magnetic force appearing without conforming to the minimum magnetic force conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
