<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a total melting type filament nonwoven fabric by a high-speed traction by a spunbond method having high productivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The filament nonwoven fabric is obtained by using a copolymer polyester comprising terephthalic acid as an acid component and a diol component consisting essentially of 1,6-hexanediol and having a melting point of 100-150°C by a spunbond method. The single filament fineness of the constituent filament of the filament nonwoven fabric is not less than 5 dtex. The crosssectional shape of the constituent filament is a modified cross-section satisfying the formula (1): A/B≥1.4 (wherein A is the length of the outer periphery of the cross-section of the constituent filament; B is the length of the outer periphery of a cross-section calculated by assuming that a filament is composed of the same polyester as that of the constituent filament and has the same fineness and the cross-sectional shape is a circle).
