PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller in which operability of the remote controller that remotely controls an object to be operated is improved, wherein service life of a battery is made longer. SOLUTION: A remote controller comprises: a plurality of transmission units 4, 5, 6 which are disposed with transmission angles made different from one another in a remote controller body for transmitting a remote control signal to the object to be operated; an angle detection unit 7 for detecting the angle of the remote controller body; and a control unit 2 for selecting any of the plurality of transmission units 4, 5, 6 to transmit the remote control signal in accordance with the angle detected by the angle detection unit 7.
