<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light, transparent, flexible deformation sensor which generates an electromotive force by deformation of an element and stably functions in the air at high response sensitivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The deformation sensor 1 is a flexible element comprising a nonaqueous high molecular electrolyte 10 including a high molecular component which is chosen from a polymer including a monomeric unit having a heteroatom or a block copolymer including a block of the polymer, and an ionic liquid, and at least a pair of electrodes 11 and 12.
