PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent protection circuit for switching power supply which reduces the variations in the current-limiting value of the overcurrent protection circuit that results from the variations in the input voltage. SOLUTION: In the overcurrent protection circuit of a switching power supply 1, a resistor 14 for current signal correction is inserted between an input terminal 4 from a power supply and an overcurrent signal protection terminal 6B, the resistance of the resistor 14 for current signal correction is set so that a voltage which is superimposed on a current signal, detected by a current detection resistor 11, when the resistor 14 for current signal correction is inserted, offsets a portion of the signal attenuated by an RC filter 1213, thus correcting a portion of the signal attenuated by the RC filter 1213 and suppressing the variations in the current-limiting value resulting from the variations in the input voltage of the switching power supply.
