<p>The system has handle e.g. steering wheel (1), for input of a driver input, a set of measuring devices (4, 5) for measurement of the driver input, and an engine (9) connected with wheels (11) by a drive unit. A computing device adjusts a steering angle of the wheels by the engine based on the driver input and current steering angle (LW) of the wheels, where the current steering angle is determined by using state variables of the engine. An alignment mechanism adapts the current steering angle to a hand angle (DW) resulting from the driver input, under defined boundary conditions. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing an electromechanical steering system for vehicle.</p> |
