Borosilicate glass with UV-blockings, comprises silicon dioxide (60-80 wt.%); boron oxide (5-15 wt.%); aluminum oxide (2-10 wt.%); titanium dioxide (0.5-7 wt.%); sum of lithium oxide, potassium oxide and sodium oxide (3-10 wt.%); sum of alkaline earth oxide (0.5-10 wt.%); zirconium oxide (0-3); and ferric oxide (0-0.2); where the borosilicate glass: exhibits a transition temperature of 550-590[deg] C and a processing temperature of 1100-1200[deg] C (in a viscosity of 104 Pas), a transmission (T) of at least 80% in a light wavelength of 400 nm and a transmission (T) of less than 0.1% in wavelength of less than 260 nm, and a thickness of 1 mm; and can be melted under oxidation conditions.</p>
