<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain detention of heat generated at each light-emitting part, in case a light-emitting device is structured by arraying a plurality of light-emitting modules each having a light-emitting part. <P>SOLUTION: A display device is provided with a display panel carrying out image display, and a backlight device fitted at a rear face of the display panel for irradiating light from the rear face of the display panel, for use in an erected state. The backlight device includes a backlight frame 31 extended in a longitudinal direction V with the display device in an erected state, and a plurality of light-emitting modules 40a, 40b fitted in a longitudinal direction V together with the backlight frame 31. The light-emitting module 40a, for instance, is equipped with a light-emitting part 41 emitting light upward from bottom with the display device in an erected state, and a reflecting plate 44 having a slanted face slanted in a direction getting away from the backlight frame 31 as it is headed upward and reflecting light from the light-emitting part 41 toward the display panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
