<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of stably detecting a recording medium regardless of flexibility of the recording medium, certainly guiding the recording medium, and simply removing the recording medium in which jamming occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: an image forming device body 12; a cover 62 provided so as to freely open/close to the image forming device body; a carrying passage 30 formed in the image forming device body 12 and carrying the recording medium; a detecting device 88 having a moving member 90 moved by the recording medium carried in the carrying passage 30, and a detecting portion 92 detecting the movement of the moving member 90; a first recording medium guiding member 78 provided oppositely to the moving member 90, and fixed when the cover 62 is closed; and a second recording medium guiding member 80 provided continuously to a downstream side in a recording medium carrying direction of the first recording medium guiding member 78, and movably guiding the carried recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
